Why should we brush our teeth?
In short, there's no doubt that brushing your teeth is essential. First of all, imagine you eat, drink, and talk all day long – food particles and bacteria will settle between your teeth. If you don't brush, a real bacterial party starts there.
Now, what follows from this? First, small plaque forms – those white bubbles that remain on your teeth. If you don't pay attention to this, the plaque hardens and becomes tartar, which you can't remove with regular brushing. At this point, a dentist needs to get involved, and who knows what kind of procedure you might need.
Moreover, if the bacteria get stronger, cavities start to form – that is, the tooth gradually decays. At that moment, when the pain bothers you, you realize that it would have been better to spend just two minutes on brushing.
But it’s not just cavities that are a problem. Plaque and bacteria also damage the gums – inflammation, redness, and bleeding start. If you don't fix this in time, gum disease can develop, and ultimately you may lose your teeth.
And finally – breath! Bad breath often indicates that you are not taking oral hygiene seriously. Brushing is important not only for aesthetics but also for health.
In summary, if you want your teeth to be healthy and clean, to smile confidently, and to make your dentist visits financially less painful, your toothbrush and toothpaste need to become your best friends!
